The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on June 5th 2018 in the township building.  Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list.  The meeting was called to order at 7:04 PM.  The pledge to the flag was recited.  Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.  Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read.  Phil seconded the motion and the motion was passed.  Jeanne read the treasurer’s report.  Mark made a motion to accept the report as read.  Phil seconded the motion and the motion passed.

Correspondence:

PSATS sent their News Bulletin.  Mark remarked on House Bill 466 to allow sheriffs and deputy sheriffs to exercise municipal police powers to make arrests without warrants while fulfilling their court-related obligations.  Also PSATS 2018 Adopted Resolution 18-08.  PSATS is seeking legislation to amend the Right-to-Know Law to authorize local agencies to ask if requested the documents will be used for resale, business solicitation or financial gain and allow agencies to charge to recover costs for responding to the requests.

NEIC sent a letter that they are installing new permit/inspection software.  There will be a change in permit numbers because NEIC will be issuing the UCC permit numbers.  Municipalities can keep their permit numbering system but the NEIC blue folders, green permit cards, billing invoices and statements will reflect the new numbers.

SWN sent Notice of Intent for Consumptive Use for King (NR-01) Pad.

PA Dept. of Transportation sent notice of State Police Fines and Penalties.  The township will receive $944.48.

SWN sent a notice of Required Action for the Mitchell South 1H and 2H wells.

Cabot Oil and Gas Corporation sent notice of the Mead B 002, 003, 005, 006, 009, 010 Gas Wells in Bridgewater Township.

New Business: 

There is no information about the roller.

Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Phil seconded the motion.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:22 PM.
