The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on July 3rd 2018 in the township building. Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list. The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM. The pledge to the flag was recited. Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting. Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Phil seconded the motion. The motion was passed. Jeanne read the treasurer’s report. Mark made a motion to accept the report as read. Phil seconded the motion. The motion was passed.
Correspondence:
Notice was received from the Susquehanna County Housing/Redevelopment Authority. The County is preparing to accept 2018 applications for the Community Development Block Grant Entitlement funds. A form was attached for project proposals. The deadline to submit forms is July 31st.
SWN sent a mailing of notification for a Permit to Drill Revised at the Mitchell South 1H and 2H site.
SWN set a Renewal Permit to Drill with Revisions at the Sweeney 2H, 4H, and 5H site in New Milford Township.
The PA Department of Environmental Protection sent a notification to renew, correct or add an NPDES permit for Rich Jenkins, Inc. This is for the Non-coal Whitney Quarry Operation.
The Susquehanna County Conservation District sent an e-mail reminder that he Dirt and Gravel Applications are due on July 13th.
New Business:
There was a discussion about the permit for repairs on Conroy Road.
Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Phil seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
