The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on May 7, 2019 in the township building.  Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Jeanne Sullivan and Phil Depue and the people on the attached sign-in list.  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.  The pledge to the flag was recited.  Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.  Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.  Jeanne read the treasurer’s report.  Mark mad a motion to accept the report as read.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.

Correspondence:

The Susquehanna County Dept. of Planning and Development sent the plan (additions to existing developed lots) for Abram and Carole Haberie and Mary Mulligan and Dawn Cokley-Kern.

The Montrose Minute Men sent a letter requesting donations for their 2019 Fund Drive.  Mark made a motion to make a donation of $100.  Jeanne seconded the motion.  The motion passed.

The PA Dept. of Environmental Protection send notification of Receipt of Final Report for the Mitchell Well Pad WR 79.   Soil contamination was confirmed due to a brine spill.  SWN was the company involved.         

Summit Financial Corporation sent the total account value for the PA Municipalities Pensions Trust.  The total as of 3/31/2019 of $140,544.73.                                                                                                     

New Business:

Phil gave a summary of the Mitigation Process for the flood effected properties in Franklin Forks.

Roadmaster Report:

Roy gave a report about the gas company use of Ebbs, Booth, Pratt, School, Bronson and Hawk roads.

Roy and Dave will be taking the Dirt and Gravel training on Wednesday and Thursday..

Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting.  Phil seconded the motion.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:29 PM.
