January 2,2018.
The Franklin Township Reorganizational Meeting was held on January 2, 2018 in the township building. Present at the meeting were Chairperson, Mark Creamer, Supervisors Philip Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list. Mark called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. The pledge to the flag was recited.

The organizational chart was reviewed. Mark explained that we have to petition the court for Angelo Grassi to be appointed by the court for the constable position. Angelo will need to be on the ballot for elections. Mark made a motion to accept the organizational chart as read. Phil seconded the motion. The motion passed.

The organizational meeting was adjourned.

The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held directly after the conclusion of the Reorganizational Meeting. Jeanne who is also the Secretary/Treasurer read the minutes to the previous meeting. Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Phil seconded the motion. The motion was passed. Jeanne read the treasurer’s report. Mark made a motion to accept the report as read. Phil seconded the motion. The motion was passed.

Correspondence:
The Susquehanna Dept. of Planning and Development sent notification that Cheryl Kernan submitted a land development plan to add a second dwelling to the lot.

A written copy of the Liquid Fuels Audit was received. lt was noted that funds had not been paid back to the account from the previous audit. AIso noted was the State money was not applied to the bank account in a timely manner.

SWN sent notification of a Permit to Drill Revised – Woosman 3H and 5H in New Milford Township.

The Court of Common Pleas sent notification of the Judicial Sale, Tax Claim Bureau of Susquehanna County with an attachment of the Petition for Confirmation of Distribution along with Exhibits A and B.

The New Milford Borough sent the premium breakdown for the Volunteer Fireman with SWtF. Franklin Township’s share is $465 for 12/1/2017 to 12/1/2018.

Peoples Security Bank sent a S25 Sunoco Gas Card because Jeanne completed the eCommerical Security Awareness Training course.

United Fire Company sent a copy of the financial audits and the fire protection contracts for 2018.

Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Phil seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 pM.
