Attention. Flood relief is still available for your residents at the Disaster Recovery Center, at 81 Public Ave in Montrose, through 7 pm tonight and has been extended into tomorrow, 8/23 from 9am to 7pm. Residents with flood damage are highly encouraged to visit the Disaster Recovery Center to report damage to their properties. The following departments are onsite to assist: DEP (for emergency permits for streams and well water testing), Trehab, Susquehanna County Housing Authority, Area Agency on Aging, PEMA, Department of Health, Scranton Counseling Center, Red Cross, Susquehanna County Assistance Office, Veteran’s Affairs, and Department of Human Services and Interfaith. This is not just for income eligible residents but for all affected.
