The Susquehanna County Commissioners along with Susquehanna County 911 are pleased to announce that we have officially launched Smart911 service in Susquehanna County. This service is completely free to all to use and allows an individual to create a Safety Profile with as much or as little information as that individual wants 911 to see. This information is then completely confidential, until 911 is called from a phone associated with the profile. At the time of the 911 call, all of the information filled out in the profile is now available to the 911 Dispatcher. Dispatchers are then able to pass pertinent information on to the responders, saving time and quite possibly lives.

We have included a link below to a News Story that Fox 40 WICZ TV out of Binghamton, ran Wednesday night (3/29/17) that details our new Smart911 service. To view the links, simply press Control then click on the link with your mouse.

We are asking you to pass this information on to anyone that you feel would benefit from this FREE Service. We also have printed material available for distribution, or electronic material that can be added to a Facebook account.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me back, or you may call 570-278-5901, leave a message and a member of our administrative team will call you back and gladly answer any and all questions.
