An Ordinance to Withdraw from the Susquehanna County Council of Governments
WHEREAS It is the intention of the governing body of Franklin Township, a member of the Susquehanna County Council of Governments, to withdraw from the Susquehanna County Council of Governments, and
WHEREAS Section III b) of the Susquehanna County Council of Governments By-Laws stipulates that withdraw from the Susquehanna County Council of Governments shall be effected by filing with the Susquehanna County Council of Governments an ordinance by the governing body of the member municipality signifying its intention to withdraw,
IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED that this document is to serve as a notice of intent of the Franklin Township governing body to withdraw from, and cease to be a member of, the Susquehanna County Council of Governments Sewage Enforcement Committee and the Susquehanna County Council of Governments Codes Enforcement Committee as of the date of enactment of this ordinance.
