The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on August 7th in the township building.\u00a0 Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list.\u00a0 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM.\u00a0 The pledge to the flag was recited.\u00a0 Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion was passed.\u00a0 Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the report as read.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed.
Correspondence:
AECOM sent notification to the township about a SWN Production Company project.\u00a0 SWN will be installing about 2.0 miles of 12-inch steel natural gas pipeline.
PA Department of Environmental Protection sent notification for a General NPDES\u00a0 Stormwater Permit for Rich Henkins, Inc.\u00a0
PA Department of Environmental Protection sent notification for a ECBP-Land Recycling Section for Montrose Christian Fellowship.
Summit Financial Corporation sent the totals for the Pennsylvania Municipalities Pension Trust.\u00a0 As of 6\/30\/2018 the account value is $135,998.45.
Roadmaster Report:
Phil reported that a bid was received for the permit for repair work on Conroy Road.\u00a0 The cost would be almost $14,000. Due to the cost for just the permit and not for the repair work, it was decided to do nothing at this time.
Phil reported that a Dirt and Gravel Grant was submitted and approved for work on Buckley Road.
Phil also said that work needs to be done on Hunsinger Road.
