The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on May 1, 2018 in the township building.\u00a0 Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list.\u00a0 The meeting was called to order at 7:03 PM.\u00a0 The pledge to the flag was recited.\u00a0 Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion and the motion was passed.\u00a0 Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the report as read.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion and the motion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The USDA Rural Development sent an announcement of grant funding for eligible applicants for projects that address the growing opioid crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cabot Oil and Gas sent the proposed Abbott D 3, 7 and 9 Gas Wells Permit Modification to extend laterals in Bridgewater Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Summit Financial Corporation sent the Retirement Portfolio for January 1st<\/sup> to March 31st.\u00a0 Total account value is $137,409.88.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Susquehanna County Dept. of Planning and Development sent a letter about the Kernan Minor Land Development. Also the PA Department of Environmental Protection sent notification about and additional residence on the Kernan property.
