The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on October3,2017 in the township building.\u00a0 Present at the meeting were Chairperson Dan Depue, Supervisor Mark Creamer, the Secretary\/Treasurer Jeanne Sullivan and the people on the attached sign-in list.\u00a0 Dan called the meeting to order at 7:08 PM.\u00a0 The pledge to the flag was recited.\u00a0 Jeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.\u00a0 Dan made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Mark seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion was passed.\u00a0 Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.\u00a0 Dan made a motion to accept the report as read.\u00a0 Mark seconded the motion.\u00a0 The report was passed.<\/p>\n

An $804.02 penalty payment confirmation was received from UC fines for late payments from the 3rd<\/sup> quarter of 2014 to the 1st<\/sup> quarter of 2017.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Susquehanna County Board of Assessment sent notice that Helen Vile has formally filed for an assessment appeal or taxable status of her property.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PSATS Unemployment Compensation Group Trust sent a letter stating that our 2018 contribution rate is .90%.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A notice was received from Susquehanna County Dept. of Public Safety.\u00a0 They are \u00a0completing an update to the current Hazard Mitigation Plan.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SWN sent Notice of Intent for Consumptive Use on Bolles South Pad.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

PA DOT sent Notice of Estimated Allocation for Liquid Fuels and Turnback for $101,343.15.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SWN sent 2 Renewal Permits for Great Bend Township and Cabot sent notice for Bridgewater Township.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Diane Calhoun, Trust Manager for Trustee Insurance Fund, sent notice that our Minimum Municipal Obligation is $8,955 for 2018.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Roadwork:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Conroy Road pipe was repaired with an emergency permit through DEC.<\/p>\n

Dan has contacted Fox Engineering because the pipe on the bottom is rusted and a GEP11 permit is needed to proceed.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The new truck was delivered.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dirt and Gravel Grant on Johnson Road is almost complete.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

SWN road work is complete.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
