February Meeting Minutes:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held in the Township Municipal Building on February 1st<\/sup>.\u00a0 The meeting was called to order at 7:05 by Chairperson Mark Creamer.\u00a0 Present at the meeting were Supervisors Arthur Starks, Mark Creamer, Dan Depue and the Secretary\/Treasurer.\u00a0 Also present at the meeting were the people on the sign-in sheet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The meeting was started with the Pledge to the Flag.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Minutes from the previous meeting were read.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the Minutes.\u00a0 Dan seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Treasurer\u2019s Report was read.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the report. Dan seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Correspondence:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

A letter was received from ISO thanking us for our participation in their survey<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Beyer-Barber Company sent a letter asking to administer our pension fund.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

PA DEP sent a copy for a Permit for Laser Northeast Gathering Company.\u00a0 The project name is Susquehanna Pipeline \u2013 NORTHSEG.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Williams sent permit notification of well drilling or alterations at the Hollenbeck site.\u00a0 There were also
\nnotices to landowners of water supply protection.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The PA EPA sent a second notice of reclassified creeks.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Rettew sent an ACT 14 Notification for a permit application for a well pad at the Herman site.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Old Business:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark stated that we should be receiving the Road Maintenance Agreement from our solicitor within a few days.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark introduced our new Supervisor, Arthur Starks.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

New Business: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark spoke about reorganizing the books and separating the special taxes into separate accounts.\u00a0 For this reason the 2011 Budget was amended and the Equipment tax was reduced by 1 mill.\u00a0\u00a0 Mark proposed Resolution 2011 \u2013 4 to amend the Budget and reduce the Equipment tax.\u00a0 Dan seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dan attended the COG Meeting.\u00a0 There was no new business to report.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Dan attended the Northern Tier Coalition Meeting.\u00a0 Meeting dates were announced.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:40 P.M.\u00a0 Dan seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
