{"id":1113,"date":"2020-04-08T18:08:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-08T22:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/franklintwp.info\/?p=1113"},"modified":"2020-05-18T18:11:14","modified_gmt":"2020-05-18T22:11:14","slug":"2020-march-board-of-supervisors-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/franklintwp.info\/?p=1113","title":{"rendered":"2020 March Board of Supervisors Meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>March 3,\n2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on March 3, 2020 in the township\nbuilding.&nbsp; Present at the meeting were Chairperson\nLee Burch, Supervisors Phil DePue, and Mark Creamer, Secretary\/Treasurer Jeanne\nSullivan the people on the attached sign-in list. Lee called the meeting to\norder at 7:00PM.&nbsp; The pledge to the flag\nwas recited.&nbsp; Jeanne read the minutes\nfrom the last meeting.&nbsp; Lee made a motion\nto accept the minutes as read. Mark seconded the motion.&nbsp; The motion was passed.&nbsp; Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.&nbsp; Lee made a motion to accept the report as\nread.&nbsp; Mark seconded the motion.&nbsp; The report was passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sealed Bids:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bids were opened.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the Supervisors had some\nquestions about the bids for crushing the bids will be tabled until next\nmeeting when more information is available.&nbsp;\nInsinger Quarries and Stagecoach Transport and Crushing submitted bids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Calcium bids were also tabled with\nthe Supervisors requesting additional information.&nbsp; Bids were submitted by Vestal Asphalt and\nSuite-Kote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Equipment bids were read.&nbsp; Companies submitting bids were G\u2019s, Karp,\nRips, and Insinger.&nbsp; Phil made a motion\nto accept all bids.&nbsp; Mark seconded the\nmotion.&nbsp; The motion passed with Phil and\nMark voting yes and Lee voting no.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dozer bid was next.&nbsp; Lee made a motion to accept the bid from G\u2019s\nExcavating.&nbsp; Mark seconded the\nmotion.&nbsp; The motion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cinder bid followed.&nbsp; Lee made a motion to accept the bid from\nBrown Farms for cinders.&nbsp; Mark seconded\nthe motion.&nbsp; The motion passed with 3 yes\nvotes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mirabito Fuel submitted a bid for &nbsp;Un-dyed on Road Diesel, Clear Kerosene, #2\nHeating fuel and Propane.&nbsp; Lee made a\nmotion to accept the bid.
