December 3,\n2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on December 3, 2019 in the township\nbuilding.  Present at the meeting were Chairperson\nMark Creamer and Supervisors Phil DePue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on\nthe attached sign-in list.  Mark called\nthe meeting to order at 7:04 PM.  The\npledge to the flag was recited.  Jeanne\nread the minutes from the last meeting. \nMark made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Phil seconded the\nmotion.  The motion was passed.  Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.  Mark made a motion to accept the report as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The report was passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correspondence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A letter from Peoples Security Bank\nstated that the township\u2019s CD current balance was $304,529.04.  The CD will be automatically renewed on\nDecember 13th<\/sup>.  The\nsupervisors decided it will be cashed in and the money will be deposited in the\nGeneral Fund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Susquehanna County Conservation\nDistrict informed the supervisors the Dirt and Gravel Roads and the Susquehanna\nCounty Conservation District\u2019s Board of Directors has approved the extension\nfor the Buckley Road project until September 20, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Susquehanna County Dept. of\nPlanning and Development sent a letter stating that the Haberle subdivision had\nbeen approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Office of Susquehanna County\nBoard of Assessment Revision notification that the estimated assessment values\nfor 2020 are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessed Real Estate Value:  $16,734,539<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Assessed Occupational Value:  $71,400<\/p>\n\n\n\n

# of OccupationaTaxables:  217 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

# of Per Capita Taxables:  279<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWN sent a Permit to Drill at the\nTingley pad in New Milford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2020 Budget was passed with\nResolution No. 2019-4.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Business:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The auditors gave a report on the 29\npoints of their audit.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roadmaster:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil gave a short report about the\ncondition of the township roads.  The\ncinder shed is filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark made a motion to adjourn the\nmeeting.  Phil seconded the motion.  The meeting was adjourned at 7:34.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
