The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on October 1, 2019 in the township\nbuilding. Present at the meeting were Chairperson\nMark Creamer and Supervisors Phil DePue and Jeanne Sullivan and the people on\nthe attached sign-in list. Mark called\nthe meeting to order at 7:00 PM. The\npledge to the flag was recited. Jeanne\nread the minutes from the last meeting. \nMark made a motion to accept the minutes as read. Phil seconded the\nmotion. The motion was passed. Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report. Mark made a motion to accept the report as\nread. Phil seconded the motion. The report was passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susquehanna\nCounty Planning Commission sent notification about the Blachek Major\nSubdivision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
SWN sent notification\nabout Permits to Drill in both Mitchell 7H and 8H in New Milford Township and\nFour Bucks 10, 11, and 12 H in Great Bend Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nSusquehanna county Library sent a letter to raise awareness about its services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PA DOT sent\na notification about the estimated 2020 Liquid Fuels allocation for the\ntownship of $100,585.76.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NEIC sent a\nCertificate of Occupancy for Edward Kincer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
New\nBusiness:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Phil read a\nletter from the State Auditor General about Columbia Hose audit findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
FEMA has\nrequested that the 4 homes that are part of the FEMA buyout need to be\nappraised before a settlement can be made. Jim Brozena from Brozena Consulting\nServices has been contacted and will conduct the appraisals for $475 per\nproperty. Phil made a motion to have the\nappraisals done for a total of $1900. \nJeanne seconded the motion. The\nmotion passed with 3 yes votes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The township\nstill has not received any money from FEMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The roads\nare in pretty good shape for winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mark made a motion to adjourn the\nmeeting. Phil seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:58 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
