The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on March 5, 2019 in the township\nbuilding.  Present at the meeting were\nChairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and the people on the attached\nsign-in list.  The meeting was called to\norder at 7:00 PM.  The pledge to the flag\nwas recited.  Phil read the minutes to\nthe previous meeting.  Mark made a motion\nto accept the minutes. Phil seconded the motion.  The motion was passed.  Phil read the treasurer report.  Mark made a motion to accept the report as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Susquehanna County Board of\nAssessment sent notice the certified assessment values for 2019 are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Real Estate $16,667,239, Occupation\nValue $69,900, # of Occupation taxable 212, # of Per Capita taxable 274.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PA DOT sent notice of payment for\nMarch 2019 for Liquid Fuels of $105,456.69 and Turnback of $36,720.00.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Susquehanna County Recycling Center\nsent a letter of intent to update the 2011 County Municipal Waste Management\nPlan to continue to be in compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Business:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark made a motion to pass ordinance\n2019-1 to raise the Supervisors pay. \nPhil seconded the motion.  The\nmotion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bids\nwere opened and sorted.  Bids were\nreceived from R.S. Services, G.L. Parrish, Vestal Asphalt, Suit-Kote, Mirabito,\nG\u2019s Excavating, Karp Excavating, Brown Farms, Lopke, Bradco, and Insinger\nQuarries.  Bids were awarded to Insinger,\nG\u2019s Excavating, Suit-Kote, Mirabito, Lopke, Karp Excavating and Brown Farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roadmaster:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roy gave a report on the condition of\nthe township roads.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark made a\nmotion to adjourn the meeting.  Phil\nseconded the motion.  The meeting was\nadjourned at 8:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
