May 7, 2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on May 7, 2019 in the township\nbuilding.  Present at the meeting were\nChairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Jeanne Sullivan and Phil Depue and the\npeople on the attached sign-in list.  The\nmeeting was called to order at 7:00 PM. \nThe pledge to the flag was recited. \nJeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.  Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.  Jeanne read the treasurer\u2019s report.  Mark mad a motion to accept the report as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correspondence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nSusquehanna County Dept. of Planning and Development sent the plan (additions\nto existing developed lots) for Abram and Carole Haberie and Mary Mulligan and\nDawn Cokley-Kern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Montrose\nMinute Men sent a letter requesting donations for their 2019 Fund Drive.  Mark made a motion to make a donation of\n$100.  Jeanne seconded the motion.  The motion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PA Dept.\nof Environmental Protection send notification of Receipt of Final Report for\nthe Mitchell Well Pad WR 79.   Soil\ncontamination was confirmed due to a brine spill.  SWN was the company involved.          <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Summit\nFinancial Corporation sent the total account value for the PA Municipalities\nPensions Trust.  The total as of\n3\/31\/2019 of $140,544.73.                                                                                                     \n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New\nBusiness:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Phil gave a\nsummary of the Mitigation Process for the flood effected properties in Franklin\nForks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roadmaster\nReport:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roy gave a\nreport about the gas company use of Ebbs, Booth, Pratt, School, Bronson and\nHawk roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roy and Dave\nwill be taking the Dirt and Gravel training on Wednesday and Thursday.. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark made a\nmotion to adjourn the meeting.  Phil\nseconded the motion.  The meeting was\nadjourned at 7:29 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
