The Franklin\nTownship Regular Monthly Meeting was held on December 4, 2018 in the township\nbuilding.  Present at the meeting were\nChairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisors Phil Depue and Jeanne Sullivan and the\npeople on the attached sign-in list.  The\nmeeting was called to order at 7:03 PM. \nThe pledge to the flag was recited. \nJeanne read the minutes to the previous meeting.  Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion was passed.  Jeanne read the treasurer report.  Mark made a motion to accept the report as\nread.  Phil seconded the motion.  The motion passed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Correspondence:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nCommonwealth made a direct deposit into the General Checking Account on\n12\/3\/2018 in the amount of $828.48 for State Police fines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cabot sent\nnotification of a proposed Greenwood Gas Well in Bridgewater Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peoples\nSecurity Bank sent notice of Automatic Renewal for the JUMBO 12 Month CD.   The current balance is $303,920.75<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SWN sent\nnotice of Renew Permit to Drill with Modifications for the Herman 6H, 7H and\n8H.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Surplus\nProgram was tabled and will be reviewed at a future meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nSusquehanna County Dept. of Planning and Development sent notification of a\nminor subdivision plan and map for the Josephine Olszewski Estate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Business<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resolution\nNo. 2018-2 to adopt the budget for the fiscal year of 2019 was passed.  The tax millage rates remain the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nsupervisors signed contracts for United Fire Company and JHA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\nSupervisors also signed a contract with Joseph F. Collura, CPA, to audit the\ntownships 2018 books in 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There was no\nroadmaster report other than the FEMA money was authorized for our area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mark made a\nmotion to adjourn the meeting.  Phil\nseconded the motion.  The meeting was\nadjourned at 7:25 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
