The Franklin Township Regular Monthly Meeting was held on November 6th in the township building.\u00a0 Present at the meeting were Chairperson Mark Creamer, Supervisor Phil Depue and the people on the attached sign-in list.\u00a0 The meeting was called to order at 6:59 PM.\u00a0 The pledge to the flag was recited.\u00a0 Mark read the minutes to the previous meeting.\u00a0 Mark made a motion to accept the minutes as read.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion.\u00a0 The motion was passed.\u00a0 Mark made an announcement that he was getting a sore throat and asked if anyone minded if instead of reading the treasurer report it would just be placed for public inspection on the table.\u00a0 No one objected.\u00a0 No motion was made to accept the Treasure\u2019s Report.<\/p>\n

The Township received the fire contract from United Fire Company.<\/p>\n

Also a renewal contract was received from JHA for sewer enforcement.<\/p>\n

Roadmaster Report:<\/p>\n

Phil reported that roadwork is winding down prior to winter.\u00a0 Buckley Road will be done next year.\u00a0 Phil called State Representative Wes Majors to check on FEMA money.\u00a0 Still waiting for Governor Wolf to accept the money but the request was supposedly filed on Friday, November 2nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Mark made a motion to adjourn the meeting.\u00a0 Phil seconded the motion.\u00a0 The meeting was adjourned at 7:12 PM.<\/p>\n
